IET London: Savoy Place refurbishment
Welcome to the fourth of our bi-monthly video updates about the refurbishment of IET London: Savoy Place.
In this video we'll show you how IET London: Savoy Place looks now that the building strip-out has been completed and tell you more about our plans to turn the building into a global engineering hub.
Our main building contractor Gilbert Ash has now been appointed, one of their first tasks will be to build the structure for our new 180-seat lecture theatre which will fill the void in the centre of the building.
We are also looking into ways of injecting samples of engineering excellence and the achievements and activities of our members into our building. This month we interviewed Peter Karn from the MET Studio who has been working on this project with a group of IET Volunteers and staff.
